Just popping in to wish everyone a Happy New Year!!!!

Also to let you know about the DT call over at Crafting Ireland,  a great crafty team that you could be a part of regardless of where you live in the world!! Your work is then shown off in their free online mag or their facebook page and website!! This would suit anyone that doesn't want weekly deadlines, as you usually have about 6 weeks in between to do your projects or tutorials!!

Off to clean my craft room, need a shovel to dig myself out of the mess.... that way if I ever find some time to make a card again I will be ready!!!!

Hi everyone,

Timi here with just a quick note  about the upcoming Ustream Class.

The class will take place on 24th November, 6pm GMT on our Ustream Channel

The class will feature Simple Stories Sn@p! Binder and Handmade Holidays collection. We will show you  how to create a very quick and easy Christmas Countdown (December Daily) Book using the Simple Stories products.

But if you don't have this collection you can easily create your own using the the supplies list below:

• A5 binder
• Min 12 A5 poly-pocket
• Christmas papers
• min. 12 A5 Cardstock coordinating with the patterned paper

We will have the measurements for you ready to make your very own Christmas Countdown Book

It will be a fun Christmas Class and it is our last one for this year, so don't miss it!

Halloween Ustream Channel Class

Here is some info about the next Crafting Ireland Free Ustream Class for you all!!!!

It will take place on the 20th October at 6pm BST on our Ustream channel here.  We will be creating a Halloween mini album. We will be using a coffin shaped mini from a store called Scrap Kreatura. Scrap Kreatura are kindly sponsoring this class so we will be using some elements from their store.

What you will need:

• 1 chipboard mini album in your desired shape
• Papers - enough to cover your chipboard album
• Papers - approx 6 sheets of 6x6
• Black paint or ink - we will be using both
• Adhesives of your choice
• Cutting tool and corner rounder and score board and any other basics you use when creating!
• Chipboard embellishments or any embellishments of your choice, for example tulle, lace, buttons etc

Below is a sneak peek of the coffin mini album. This is one that was created by the team at Scrap Kreatura, just to whet your appetite!

A Mini Album for my parents...

Now that my computer is back in working order ....I can share with you what I was up to while I wasn't wasting my time on my computer... lol!!! This is a Mini Album I am sending to my parents as a thank-you for everything while I was home in Thunder Bay this summer!! 

I did one for the last holiday we spent there, so when I was leaving my Mom said she would be waiting for her mini album... he he... I had no choice then but to make this one!

 Crafting Ireland's free online magazine is out today so be sure to click below and have a look through all the fun projects and tutorials! Maybe because there are a lot of Halloween ideas, but I think this is my favourite issue yet!!!!

A Quick Reminder!!

Just a quick reminder about the Altered Lunchbox Online Class TODAY on the CI Ustream Channel.


Supplies you will need:
*1 lunchbox ( I am going to use a soft one, but you can get a hard one too) I get mine in the local toyshop.
*acrylic paints
*brushes
*gel medium
*chipboard or grunge board elements/alphabets to decorate the bag
*hot glue gun and hot glue sticks
*old book pages or music sheets
*stamps or objects that you can stamp with (eg.: toilet roll, bottle tops)
*few charms
It will be a messy crafty class so prepare craft sheet, apron and a cloth to clean your hands and desk.
